All roads led to Clackmannan Bowling Club for the first game of the season for the Ayrshire North Team on Saturday 23rd May. Clackmannan Bowling Club was indeed at its best for this tie. The Players were also at their best.
After a good start Ayrshire were quickly into the lead making the best of the good playing conditions on a lovely sunny day.
As the game progressed Clackmannan came back into it more, and by about the 18th end it was all tied at 93 shots each. Ayrshire pushed on and found the drive to eventually take the game by 124 shots to 103 gaining the first points of the year.
Well done Ayrshire!
